GreenPath reminds consumers about new credit report premiering March 30
Traditionally, three credit bureaus have provided credit reports: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. However, beginning March 30, a new CoreScore credit report will be available. CoreScore will include payment data that is not monitored by the three other credit reporting bureaus.

“Despite some optimism in the increased spending this past Black Friday weekend, GreenPath encourages everyone to carefully budget their holiday spending this year,” said Dorothy Barrick, GreenPath financial counselor. “While credit cards can be very tempting to purchase gifts, they can result in a ‘holiday hangover’ in January, when the credit card bills come due,” she continued.

GreenPath Debt Solutions, with offices in Elkhart and Mishawaka, is partnering with the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) on the state’s new Hardest Hit Fund initiative. GreenPath will work with the Indiana Foreclosure Prevention Network (IFPN) and provide free mortgage assistance eligibility counseling to unemployed residents of Elkhart and Saint Joseph counties.
